Improve your Farms Efficiency with a 2024 Government Capital Grant

The window for applications has just opened for the 2024 government Farm Capital Grant. This is a great opportunity for farmers in England to install new equipment or upgrade old, all with the aim of improving environmental impact and farm efficiency.

How does the Farm Capital Grant 2024 work?

You can apply for a Farm Capital Grant from the government and use it to achieve environmental benefits within 4 groups:

• Boundaries, trees and orchards
• Water quality
• Air quality
• Natural flood management

Unlike in previous years, there is no limit on either the maximum amount for any application or the amount you can apply for in each group.

There is no current deadline for applications, however, the government advises that if applications exceed expectations, a closing date may be later announced. If this is the case, a 4 week notice period will be issued.
