Rotorflush submersible pumps are high-quality submersible dirty water pumps with integrated self-cleaning filters that keep any solids away from the intake. These reliable submersible effluent pumps are an ideal solution for pumping water from dirty lagoons, lakes and rivers and filtering wash water for water treatment works.

Rotorflush submersible water pumps are high-quality pumping solutions with integrated self-cleaning filters that remove any detritus that block the screen and allow the pump to operate at an optimal level. Combining pumping and filtration solution in one easy-to-use and install, these submersible sewage pumps are ideal for pumping water contaminated with suspended solids. Due to their design benefits and robust design, Rotorflush submersible dirty water pumps are typically used for pumping water from dirty lagoons, lakes and rivers, and filtering wash water for water treatment works.

Unlike traditional pumps, which will only keep out larger particles and can easily get damaged from suspended solids in the water, the Rotorflush electric submersible pumps remove solids down to 60 microns. This means that if there is a high volume of suspended solids in the water, the self-cleaning filter will prevent pump blockage and save money on repairing expensive pump damage. The self-cleaning filter on the Rotorflush submersible effluent pumps is designed to stop intake blockage as it is completely cleaned every ½ second, offering more efficient pump operation.

How Does This Work?

The self-cleaning part of the filter consists of a pump impeller fitted inside a rotating housing with two angled jets. The main water flow is through the filter screen and into the main submersible pump. Some of the filtered water is sucked into the central impeller and ejected out through the rotating jets. These angled jets rotate at 60 rpm and direct water back through the filter, removing any detritus that is beginning to block the screen.
